Dawson Leery-Dawson is a 16 year old dreamer. His dream is to become a great flim maker like Steven Spielberg. After 15 years of obliviousness, he finally realizes that his best friend, Joey, is the one he truly loves. Joey Potter-She is an independant girl. Her father was in prison for trafficking drugs, and her mother died. She lives with her sister Bessie, and Bessie's baby boy, and help run a restaurant called the Ice House. She broke up with Dawson to find herself, but ran right into the arms of a guy who turned out to be gay. Jen Lindley-A girl who used to date Dawson, then broke up with him, but now wants him back. She is one wild dame, who used to live in New York City. Her bad girl attitude has gotten her a bad reputation. Pacey Witter-The son of the town sherrif, Pacey is the black sheep of his family. His girlfriend Andy, is the sister of Jack, the gay guy. Pacey used to do bad at school, but with the help of Andy, a very dedicated student, his grades are improving immensly. Andy McPhee-Andy is a girl who always has to hand in her homework on time. She and her brother Jack, live with her mother who is mentally defficiant. Her father lives in Rhode Island, and sends support checks. Andy is basically the glue that holds this family together. Jack McPhee-This is the first gay Capeside resident to come out in public. He is a nice boy, but people treat him differently just because he is different. He went out with Joey, until he found out that he was gay. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
